Standards & Electrical Classification

This model is listed as complying with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 and as a Type I, Class E hard hat.

For Class E testing, test samples are proof-tested at 20,000 volts phase-to-ground. That figure is a laboratory proof-test level only — it is not a safe working voltage and does not guarantee protection at 20,000 volts in the field.
